Members-only and paid posts
Gated posts show crawlers only the preview. That's fine for premium content, but make sure your best explainers and evergreen guides are public.
No llms.txt
Ghost has no built-in llms.txt and themes can't serve arbitrary root files. A redirect from /llms.txt to a hosted copy is the dependable route.
Custom robots.txt needs a theme change
To change robots rules you add robots.txt to your theme and upload it. On Ghost(Pro), custom themes need the Creator plan or higher.
Tag and author pages without descriptions
Empty tag and author descriptions waste pages that could explain your expertise. Fill them in — they show up in the sitemap.

Redirect /llms.txt to the hosted file
In Ghost Admin, go to Settings → Advanced → Labs, download redirects.yaml, add a rule and upload it again. With Pro, point it at your hosted LLMready file so it updates as you publish.

Allow AI crawlers in your theme's robots.txt
Add robots.txt to the root of your theme, zip and upload it in Settings → Design. It replaces Ghost's default file.
